The deadline for the presentation of the scores for the International Composition Competition was yesterday, May 12th.

Thanks to all the participants. A large number of scores have been received from 4 continents (Europe, USA, South America, Asia) and over 20 countries (Italy, Holland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, California, New Jersey, Mexico, Taiwan, Iran, Japan, Korea ...). The jury has already started the section and the result will be announced reasonably by June 16th.

High patronage of the European Parliament

With particular satisfaction, the Ensemble Serenissima Association announces that the symphonic concert of the orchestra of the XXIII FVG Music Meeting, in which there will also be the award ceremony for the "IV International Composition Prize SEM 2019" received the high patronage of the European Parliament. On 11 April, President Antonio Tajani sent a personal letter to the headquarters of the Association with which he approved the High Patronage of the European Parliament. This patronage is granted every year to a limited number of quality events that are not for profit and have a clear European dimension.



The Association Ensemble Serenissima was founded in 1983,  with the aim to spread the musical culture and create a new music circuit based on excellence of young musicians, making them protagonists in Italy and in the world, giving also contributed to the popularization of the musical heritage.


Associazione Ensemble Serenissima of Sacile (PN) - Italy, in collaboration with Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia publishing house, announces the fourth edition of the International Competition of Composition "IV INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITION PRIZE – SEM 2019”. The winning composition will be receive  a cash prize, it will be performed by the FVG International Music Meeting Orchestra during the final orchestra concert, which will take place in July 2019, and it will be published by Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia publishing house.

Call for works

The competition is open to musicians of all nationalities with no age limit.

The submitted composition, must be unreleased for orchestra without soloists, unpublished and never performed before in public concerts, radio or television nor awarded in any other composition competitions. Reed more
