The “5th International Composition Prize SEM 2020” has reached its conclusion. This is the fifth edition organized by the Ensemble Serenissima Association with the aim to promote the creation and wide distribution of new orchestra repertoire.

After a careful evaluation, a thorough examination and a mutual opinions exchange and observations on the scores, the international jury, composed by DANIELE ZANETTOVICH (President - Italy), GILBERTO BOSCO (Italy), DIMITRI CERVO (Brazil), FERRER FERRÁN (Spain), DONALD SOSIN (USA), decided to award the first prize to the composition:

FANJINGSHAN by Luca Rizzo (Italy)

The composition will be performed during the symphonic concert of the XXIV FVG International Music Meeting (Originally scheduled for Sunday 26 July it will be postponed to September on a date yet to be defined, due to the epidemiological COVID-19 emergency). It will receive the € 2,500 prize and it will be published by Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia.

It is a source of great satisfaction for us to receive compositions in a variety of interesting styles written by all ages composers from all over the world.

The Association Ensemble Serenissima was founded in 1983,  with the aim to spread the musical culture and create a new music circuit based on excellence of young musicians, making them protagonists in Italy and in the world, giving also contributed to the popularization of the musical heritage.


Associazione Ensemble Serenissima of Sacile (PN) - Italy, in collaboration with Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia publishing house, announces the fourth edition of the International Competition of Composition "IV INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITION PRIZE – SEM 2019”. The winning composition will be receive  a cash prize, it will be performed by the FVG International Music Meeting Orchestra during the final orchestra concert, which will take place in July 2019, and it will be published by Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia publishing house.

Call for works

Associazione Ensemble Serenissima of Sacile (Pordenone, Italy), in collaboration with Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia Publishing House, announces the Fifth edition of the International Competition for orchestral compositions "5th INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITION PRIZE – SEM 2020”.

The contest winner will receive: €2.500, performance of the composition, audio/ video recording, publishing by Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia publishing house.
