The deadline for submitting scores for the ninth edition of the international composition competition expired on 30 April. Once again this year, a considerable number of scores were received from different continents and over 25 countries (Italy, Turkey, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, England, Poland, Sweden, France, Israel, Greece, Cyprus, Russia, Austria, Portugal, Ireland, Holland, Mexico, Chile, USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan...), a sign of the competition's increasing international relevance. We would like to thank all those who participated. The evaluation work has begun. The final result will be published on this website and on the competition website www.internationalcompositionprize.it by 16 June 2024.

Call for works

Associazione Ensemble Serenissima of Sacile (Pordenone, Italy), in collaboration with Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia Publishing House, announces the ninth edition of the international symphonic composition competition "9th INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITION PRIZE – SEM 2024”.

The contest winner will receive: €2.500, performance of the composition, audio/ video recording, publishing by Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia publishing house.

The Associazione Ensemble Serenissima was founded in 1983 with the aim of spreading musical culture and creating a new musical circuit based on the excellence and appreciation of young musicians, making them protagonists within the Italian and European scene, while also contributing to the dissemination of the musical heritage and the message it also represents from a social point of view.
